The Purpose of Marion County Youth Bassmasters is to promote and encourage youth fishing through education of fishing ethics, sportsmanship, fishing techniques, and conservation of natural resources. To fulfill all responsibilities we owe to our community, our state, and our society to help maintain natural fishing resources.
Club Event: June 25th & 26th Club Classic
The last stop on the club schedule for the 2021-22 Marion County Youth Bassmasters Season was at Lake Panasofkee! Huge thanks to Tracy's Point for always being an awesome host! Taking home the win in the Junior Division fishing solo was Wyatt North with 18.69lbs! Wyatt also had the 4.84lb Big Bass on the Junior Side! 2nd went to Troy Guynn with 10.37lbs and rounding out the top 3 was Bowen Reeves with 6.13lbs! Taking home the win on the High School side was Ethan Tuttle and Timmy Cole with 19.85lbs! 2nd went to Caleb Couch with 17.09lbs, and 3rd went to Wyatt Thompson with 12.65lbs. Big Bass went to Breck Petty! He caught a 7.02lb Panasofkee Pig!!! Huge thanks to the boat captains, volunteers, and parents for another successful tournament season! Classic Dates are set! Day 1 May 21 will be at Orange Lake @ Marjorie Rawlins and Day 2 will be May 22 at Panasofkee @ Tracy's Point! Tight Lines and God Bless everyone!
