It was nice to get our youth anglers back out on the water after having to put our season on hold due to Covid-19. With some rescheduling we were able to do a double header weekend and get two tournaments in! The first showdown was on Lake Yale. In the High School Division the team of Parker and Cooper Hughes barely beat out the competition with 12.87lbs! Right behind them was the team of Dalton Loos and Wyatt Daily with 12.85lbs. Dalton took home Big Bass Honors with his 5.15lb Lake Yale Monster! Rounding out the top 3 was Zack Barrera and John Walker with 9.64lbs! In the Jr Division the Haynes brothers took home the win with 11.01lbs and they also had Big Bass Honors with a 3.05lb Hawg!
For the next day we headed to Griffin! Taking home the win on the High School side and getting a little redemption after missing 1st by .002 ounces at Yale was Dalton Loos and Wyatt Daily dropping 18.11lbs on the scales anchored by the 5.55lb Griffin Giant of the day! 2nd went to Parker and Cooper Hughes with 12.35lbs and rounding out the top 3 was Ethan Tuttle and Ashton Little with 11.46lbs! In the Jr Division Jason and Landon Haynes took home the win again with 8.45lbs and had big bass honors with a 2.67lb toad!
These two tournaments wrapped up our regular season and the points race for team of the year. The HS Team of the year is Dalton Loos and Wyatt Daily! The Jr Team of the Year is Jason and Landon Haynes! Great Job Teams! Next Stop is the CLUB CLASSIC! The youth have voted to move the classic to Lake Panasofkee! We will be launching out of Tracy's Point Fishing Lodge! Classic is July 25th and 26th! Tracy's Point does have cabins on site if you wish to stay overnight!
