Marion County Youth Bassmasters recently fished the St. John's River and launched out of Salt Springs. Despite warming weather it still proved to be a very tough day of fishing with only two 5 fish limits weighed in. Taking home the win on the High School side was Dalton Loos fishing solo. He managed to find some spawning fish to put together his 11.22lb sack. Dalton also had big bass honors with his 3.90lb slab! Taking 2nd place was Wyatt Thompson and Ashton Little with 5.41lbs and rounding out the top 3 was Zack Barrera and John Walker with 4.95lbs! On the Jr Side we have quite the race going on! The Haynes brothers took home the win this time with 2.10lbs and Beau Inman fished solo and was right on their heels with 1.27lbs! These teams are all tied up in the AOY Points Race! Next stop is the Harris Chain in March. New members are always welcome!
